Dr. F. Kennard Hood
Dr. Hood earned his BS in Biology, BA in Religion, and MD from Emory University. He completed his internship and residency through the Emory University Family Medicine Residency Program in 1999. After working in private practice as a family doctor for 10 years, he joined Emory Specialty Associates in 2009.
Since joining Emory Specialty Associates, Dr. Hood has served in various roles, including board member for the Emory Healthcare Network, medical director for CVS Minute Clinics, Site Lead for Emory’s Southern Crescent primary care practices, and educator for medical students and prospective advanced practice providers.
Dr. Hood enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a special focus on adolescents and geriatrics.
