Dr. Ijeoma Ibezue

Dr. Ijeoma Ibezue, who joined Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare in 2022, hails from Fairburn, GA. Known affectionately as “Dr. I,” she completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Emory University in Atlanta. She obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and served as the Administrative Chief Resident at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Her research there focused on delayed cord blood clamping and cervical agenesis.

Dr. Ibezue is passionate about patient education and advocates for shared decision-making, especially in serving underserved communities. She has a keen interest in managing high-risk pregnancies and complications arising from diabetes and high blood pressure.

Known for her energetic and approachable personality, Dr. Ibezue quickly makes patients feel comfortable and cared for. Her dedication to women’s health and her compassionate care make her a valuable addition to the team. Dr. Ibezue is currently accepting new patients.
