Dr. Melinda Willingham

Dr. Willingham has been with Decatur Pediatric Group since 2001, following her role as a staff pediatrician at Gwinnett Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from the University of Alabama and a Doctorate of Medicine from Howard University. Board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Dr. Willingham has held leadership roles, including Chair of the AAP’s Legislative Committee. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Emory University and Morehouse Medical College, and is dedicated to advancing pediatric care and advocating for children in the Atlanta community.
