Dr. Whitney Lankford
Dr. Whitney Lankford joined Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare in 2021, bringing a fresh perspective rooted in her Maryland origins and a decade-long residency in Atlanta. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Clark Atlanta University and completed her medical degree and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dedicated to elevating healthcare standards, Dr. Lankford champions holistic, high-value approaches that prioritize patient autonomy. Her passion for preventive care focuses on addressing health disparities among high-risk minority groups and reducing maternal morbidity and mortality in Georgia.
A community advocate, Dr. Lankford actively participates in educational programs through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., aiming to empower adolescent girls with better healthcare knowledge and leadership skills.
