Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana and earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 2005.

Her post-graduate training included a General Pediatric Residency and a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

In 2011, her career brought her to Atlanta, where she joined the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta emergency department.

She transitioned to primary care pediatrics in the North Fulton area while continuing to serve as a pediatric emergency physician when needed.
